Big News for 2015!

Hello there and Happy New Year! Thanks for stopping by. So as you probably heard, I have some pretty big news. Let me start off by saying, 2014 was a freakn   fantastic year! I learned so much and got to work with some amazing wedding vendors in the Hampton Roads area. I did my first style shoot with Amanda Truth photography, assisted Simply Grand Events with several lovely weddings, booked my first couple ever, helped Size Overrated magazine throw an awesome corporate anniversary party, participated in an Interlocked style shoot with the amazing Chelsea Lavere, got half way though my masters degree, and started a social media marketing company with my boyfriend. No wonder I'm so tired!

Any who while 2014 was crazy dope, 2015 is going to be even better. Jacquelyne Edith Events is proud to announce that it will be expanding this June to the DMV area. The military brought me to Hampton Roads and I so enjoyed the stay, but the DMV has my heart. So me and Sheila (my bike for those who don't know her name) will be packing up and heading out in June. Don't be too sad though. I will be back and forth conducting business as usual. And I will always be just a Facebook update away! Speaking of Facebook...

I will be devoting more time to engage with you on social media. Each day of the week is now devoted to some aspect of the wedding. Monday is man crush Monday, where I'm highlighting grooms who really rock it out on their wedding day. Tuesday is Transformation Tuesday. Watch how ordinary venue spaces are transformed into gorgeous ceremonies and receptions. Wednesday is Wedding Crush Wednesday where I post my favorite wedding inspiration. Thursday is thrifty Thursday where you can learn how to save big on your big day. And Friday is my favorite of them all! On Friday I'm bringing you the fun: wedding dances, photo booths, crazy socks and all. If you enjoy all things weddings this is where you need to be! So in a nutshell, in 2015 you can expect more updates, more blog posts, new faces, and new spaces. Are you excited yet? Oh and one last thing. While we absolutely loved all the birthday parties, baby showers and other small events we did in 2014, in 2015 were focusing on a few things we do really well, corporate events and weddings. We're celebrating businesses and brides (for those who love illiteration as much as I do) ☺️
